100 Chaney Bears Scheduled to be Donated on December 27
Chaney’s Champions, a 501C3 non-profit based in Apex, NC, will be holding a donation event on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00pm to donate a total of 100 teddy bears to the Roxboro Police and Fire Departments.

The donation event will take place at the Roxboro Police Department and will feature remarks from Chaney’s Champions’ representatives and representatives from the Roxboro Police and Fire Departments.
Through generous financial donations, Chaney’s Champions will be able to donate 100 Gund Teddy Bears to Roxboro.December’s scheduled event will result in over 700 teddy bears being donated by Chaney’s Champions to multiple organizations that work with children in need over the last two years. Chaney’s Champions was formed in 2016 and has donated 220 bears to Apex Police Department, 95 bears to Durham County Sheriff’s Office, 95 Bears to Orange County Sheriff’s Office, 25 bears to Hillsborough Police Department and 190 bears to Edmarc Children’s Hospice.
Chaney’s Champions was formed to honor the memory of Chaney James Corcoran, who passed away suddenly from SIDS at 10 weeks old. Chaney’s Champions was created to provide teddy bears to organizations that encounter children in a crisis situation. The “Chaney Bears” are used to help bring comfort to children in need and provide opportunities to pay kindness forward and embody the mission of Chaney’s Champions to #ChampionOn with small tokens of kindness.
